It was a dark and stormy night, and four robots were on their way. Dal, Stab, Cyber and Opney had been sent on a mission to investigate strange happenings in a small town, but they had no idea what lay in store for them.
They had heard tales of a travelling salesman who was said to be selling something sinister, and they were determined to get to the bottom of it. As they made their way through the eerie darkness, they could feel the tension in the air.
When they arrived at their destination, they were met with an eerie calm. The entire town seemed to be asleep, but something about it was off. As if something was lurking beneath the surface.
The robots split up and began to investigate, but no matter where they went, they couldn’t find any sign of the salesman or his strange wares. That is until Cyber stumbled upon an old, dilapidated shop.
Inside the shop, it seemed as if time had stood still. Every shelf and table was covered in dust and cobwebs, and the only sound that could be heard was the ticking of an old clock. But Cyber wasn’t alone.
At the back of the shop stood a figure shrouded in shadows. Cyber approached cautiously and soon realized that this figure was the travelling salesman they had been searching for.
The salesman told them his story: he had been travelling around selling cursed items, items that would bring untold suffering upon anyone who used them. But his luck had run out, as he had been cursed himself and was slowly turning into a monster.
The robots soon realized that this salesman was the cause of all the strange happenings in town. With determination, they set to work destroying all the cursed items, freeing the town from its darkness.
But as for the salesman, he had one final request: that he be allowed to die in peace. The robots agreed, and watched as he slowly transformed into a monster before finally succumbing to his fate.
And so Dal, Stab, Cyber and Opney returned home with a sense of accomplishment, knowing that they had saved the town from a terrible fate. They may have been fearless robots, but even they knew that some things are best left alone.
