The Programmer’s Curse

The Programmer's Curse

The night was dark and the moon was hidden behind the clouds, as I stumbled upon an old abandoned building. My mind was foggy and my vision was blurred, as I made my way inside the eerie structure.

I could feel my heart pounding and my palms were sweating as I walked through the dimly lit hallways, filled with cobwebs and dust. Suddenly, I heard a faint sound coming from one of the rooms ahead.

As I approached the room, I could hear the sound getting louder and more distinct. It was the sound of someone typing on a keyboard. My curiosity got the best of me, and I pushed open the door.

To my surprise, I found a computer programmer sitting in front of a computer screen, typing away frantically. He didn’t even seem to notice me as I stood there, watching him work.

Suddenly, the screen flickered and went black. The programmer’s face contorted into a look of horror as he realized that his work had been lost.

He began to scream and thrash about, his body convulsing violently. I stood frozen in fear, unable to move as I watched him transform into something monstrous.

His skin turned a sickly shade of green, and his eyes glowed with an otherworldly light. He lunged at me with razor-sharp claws, and I knew that my life was in danger.

I stumbled backwards, trying to escape his grasp, but he was too fast. He caught me by the throat and lifted me off the ground, his grip tightening around my neck.

As I gasped for air, I could feel my life slipping away. But just when I thought all was lost, a sudden burst of strength coursed through my body. I managed to break free from his grasp, and ran for my life.

I could hear his howls of rage echoing behind me as I fled through the dark corridors of the abandoned building. But somehow, I managed to make it out alive.

To this day, I still have nightmares about that fateful encounter with the computer programmer. And I can’t help but wonder what horrors might still lurk inside that old abandoned building.
