The Pathologist’s Eternal Torment

The Pathologist's Eternal Torment

Once upon a time, there was a pathologist who was living a happy and prosperous life with her husband and family. They had been together for years and were very much in love. However, one day, their marriage hit a rough patch and after a lot of fighting, they decided to get divorced.

The pathologist was devastated. She had never expected this to happen and she was unsure of how to move forward. She had lost the love of her life, and she was feeling lost and alone. She tried to distract herself from the pain by burying herself in her work, but she couldn’t seem to get away from it. She felt like she was completely broken and nothing could fix her.

One day, while she was walking home from work, she noticed a strange figure following her. She looked back but it had disappeared. She assumed it was nothing and continued on her way. When she arrived at her house, however, she noticed that the figure had reappeared and was now standing outside her window.

The figure was tall and pale with a hood covering its face. It seemed to be watching her intently. She felt a chill run down her spine and she quickly shut her curtains. She tried to forget about the figure and went to bed, but she couldn’t shake the feeling that something sinister was watching her.

The next day, she went back to work as usual but was still feeling uneasy. She was constantly looking over her shoulder, expecting the figure to reappear. Then, one night when she was walking home from work, the figure appeared again out of nowhere.

She froze in fear as it slowly walked towards her. When it finally reached her, it pulled back its hood and revealed its identity: it was a pathologist like her! She screamed in terror as the figure began to laugh maniacally. It then revealed that it wasn’t a real person, but a spirit of death that had been following her since her divorce.

The spirit said that it wanted to take her away with it and make her suffer for eternity. The pathologist was horrified and begged for mercy, but the spirit refused. Just as it was about to take her away, however, a powerful force suddenly appeared and drove the spirit away.

The pathologist fell to the ground in relief and looked around for the source of the force. That’s when she saw a figure standing in the shadows: it was her former husband! He told her that he hadn’t been able to let go of his love for her and he had come back to save her from the spirit of death.

The pathologist was overjoyed and she gladly accepted his offer to start over again. Together, they walked away from the nightmare and started anew.
